III. School Lunch Program: Our project collaborates with the World Food Program to offer school children in Sinkunia a nutritious lunch at school. The WFP program currently provides bulgar and vegetable oil to the school for lunches. But neither of these foods are native to the diets of the children. We would like to complement this current service by adding rice and local condiments, the staple food for these children.scholarship fund. Eventually we would like to be able to buy local rice from local farmers and providing financial incentives for the preparation of the meal. Although community development is not our major focus, we recognize that in order to help these children we must also help their families.
