SoS Circle Line Walk, May 24th, 2014

Saturday 24th May saw 10 SoS supporters embark on a 22 mile walk, following the path of the Circle Liine (Underground Railway). Arriving at Hammersmith Station at 9am, the goal was to cover the whole tube line (overground), passing clockwise past Edware Road, St Pancras, travelling along Embankment and finishing again at Edware Road station. Our aim was to raise money to ship many of the donations that have been collected over the last year, and to promote awareness for the charity.

Despite rain forecast throughout the day, spirits were high, and we got off to a good start, taking in the many sights of the capital.

Still smiling at the end, after 10 and a half hours of walking, we had earned a rest! Thank you to all those who continue to support us, and donated to this day – a total of  £900 was raised. Thanks also go to the group members;
